Sound Cue Pro is an essential tool for sound designers and operators in amateur and small professional theatres. No more fiddling around with endless tape cassettes or burning a CD, only to have the director change their mind. Simply cue up all the sound effects on your computer and click to play. Change the order on the fly, fade in, fade out, add new ones and save your cue list ready for the performance.

You can set it to rehearsal mode for those hard night, Even has a panic button, in case you let the cue go at the wrong time. It also has a built in text editor so you can mark your cues on the script on screen. This program has been used for full length presentations as well as many one act plays. Cues can be in wav or mp3 format, the latter being useful for long effects. Can function as a mp3 player while coffee breaks are had.

The start time of each performance can be logged along with interval and finish time, as each cue is played it is logged. This log can then be printed for the director so they have an idea of just how long the performance is, and where each cue came in etc. A useful tool for the director.

SoundCue pro is a lot more advanced than SoundCue 2000 in the following ways:

1: All fades are now handled automatically

2: It a built in Rehearsal mode, which allows for much easier rehearsals

3: When you save a script, you are given the option of saving the cue list along with it, so on reloading the cues will be loaded as well, very usefull when setting up for a show.

4: All controls are bigger so as not to miss them with mouse when you are in a hurry.

5: The start and interval times, along with finish times are logged to the hard drive, and my be loaded to allow the director to see what sort of times the show is running at, very handy for one acts.

6: The ability to capture any part of a cue so that it can be rehearsed from any given point, rather than having to play a long cue to a given point and then start the rehearsal.
