Being a musician myself, I am always on the lookout for ways to make my life a little easier, always looking to cut down the amount of gear I have to pack in and even worse pack out again after a hard night's singing.

I used to use a CD player and armed with a collection of CDs containing my backing music, I would start to setup the whole deal. I got to thinking, what if I could do away with the CDs and the player, no more swapping CDs or mini discs, how would it be if I had all my tracks in one place, yes on a laptop.

This is how "The Music Man" was born. Now all I do is take along my laptop and the rest of the gear, ie amp, mics, mixer etc, plug the laptop into the mixer and away I go. I think you will find The Music Man very easy to use, so this help file is not as complex as others you have seen.
