Introduction:

Windows 95 and NT are large and complex pieces of software with extensive features and capabilities. Microsoft's primary goal is to focus on writing the code for these operating systems, documenation is not a high priority on its list.

These days, many people don't want to read a thick manual anyway, so it's Microsoft's intention that the operating systems should be "discoverable" without a manual, they let the user to figure out how to use Windows on his/her own.
